Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions govern the use of www.mar-escape.com and all services provided by Mar Escape Villa (“MAR ESCAPE”, “we”, “us”, “our”). By using this website or arranging accommodation with us, you accept these Terms.
These Terms form an integral part of the contractual relationship created when accommodation is arranged for any villa offered by MAR ESCAPE (“Accommodation”).
We place special importance on protecting your privacy and personal data. Details are available in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
1. Governing Law & Acceptance
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Croatia and applicable European Union law. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our services.
2. Electronic Communication
By contacting us through the website, email, telephone or other electronic means, you agree to receive communications from us electronically. All booking arrangements are made via email or through the booking system on our website.
3. Booking, Payment & Cancellation
MAR ESCAPE will guide you through the booking process, payment conditions and cancellation rules. These are described in detail in the FAQ section on our website and in your booking confirmation.
4. Our Obligations
MAR ESCAPE undertakes to provide accommodation services with due care and professionalism. Additional services (transport, chefs, excursions, etc.) are often provided by third parties and may be subject to their own conditions.
5. Limitation of Liability
MAR ESCAPE is not responsible for acts or omissions of third-party service providers, including transport operators, travel agents, guides, restaurants, and other service partners.
We are not liable for injury, loss, delay, inconvenience, property damage, or any indirect or consequential damages arising from events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to force majeure, illness, strikes, civil unrest, natural disasters, or failures of transport providers.
6. Force Majeure
MAR ESCAPE shall not be liable for failure or delay in providing Accommodation caused by force majeure events, including war, natural disasters, epidemics, government actions, transport disruptions, or other circumstances beyond our control.
7. Security Deposit
A security deposit of €400 is required. It covers potential damages, loss of property, excessive cleaning, or outstanding bills. If no damage occurs, the deposit will be refunded after your stay. Any damage exceeding the deposit must be fully reimbursed.
8. Travel Documents & Visas
Guests are responsible for ensuring valid travel documents and visa requirements. MAR ESCAPE bears no responsibility for denied entry or inability to use Accommodation due to documentation issues.
9. Insurance & Medical Responsibility
MAR ESCAPE does not provide travel or health insurance. Guests are strongly encouraged to arrange appropriate coverage and assess their own health conditions before travel.
10. Jurisdiction
The Commercial Court in Split has exclusive jurisdiction for disputes arising from these Terms.
11. Amendments
MAR ESCAPE may update these Terms periodically. All changes will be published on this page.
