Do we share the villa with other guests?
No. You do not share the villa with other guests. When you rent the villa, the entire property is exclusive for your use, including all facilities at the villa.
What are check-in and check-out times?
Check-in starts at 3 pm and check-out is by 10 am (to give us enough time to thoroughly prepare the villa for the arrival of the next guests, so we kindly ask that you respect the check-out time).
What are the facilities we can use at the villa?
The most prominent feature of Mar Escape Villa is the 14 m long private swimming pool, which is exclusive for your use and any member of your traveling group. Other facilities at the villa include indoor/outdoor lounging areas, outdoor/indoor dining areas, indoor kitchen with all appliances (fridge with freezer, icemaking machine, oven, stove, microwave oven, dishwasher, coffee machine, toaster, kettle), outdoor kitchen with BBQ and minifridge, washer-dryer, iron and iron board etc.
Are linen and towels provided?
Yes, high-count hotel-quality white bed linen and bathroom towels for all four bedrooms are provided. We also provide larger size towels for pool side use, at no extra cost.
What are the beds like?
All beds in the 4 bedrooms of Mar Escape Villa are a generous 180 cm x 200 cm size, with a British high-quality hotel-type mattress, ensuring the most comfortable rest during your stay with us.
Are kitchen utensils provided?
Yes, the kitchen includes all basic and day to day utensils, cutlery, pots and pans, dishes, glassware and even basic spices (salt, pepper, paprika). If you have special requests for the kitchen or want to know specifics about how the kitchen is equipped, feel free to send us an email.
Is airport transfer available?
We are happy to provide you with a quote for private transfer from Split or Zadar airports, which are closer to Mar Escape Villa. We can also provide you with a quote for private transfer from Dubrovnik or Zagreb airports.
Is there any staff at the villa or do we have to pay extra?
No staff is present at the villa during your stay. If you have special requests, such as private chef, housekeeper, private driver (with or without car), masseuse or any other concierge services, they can be available upon request, at an extra cost. Please let us know your requirements at booking time and we will do our best to accommodate them.
What happens if we have a problem during our stay?
For any issues that might arise, however unlikely they might be (broken appliances, no hot water etc.), we are a phone call away (and an hour drive away from the villa), so we will do our best to take care of the problem in a timely manner.
Is food included in the villa price?
No food is included, but for a flat fee (50 euros), we are happy to stock your fridge, before your arrival, with the food and drinks of your choice (pending availability at the nearby supermarkets and shops). You can pay the shopping cost at arrival (we will provide all receipts).
Does the villa have a coffee maker?
Yes, a Rivelia by DeLonghi coffee machine is available for use in the villa kitchen. We do not provide the coffee beans, you can bring your own - the Bean Switch System of the machine has the option to use two different types of coffee beans. Also, the machine has a manual milk frother, enabling you to create creamy milk foam for your coffee drinks.
Is smoking allowed at the villa?
Mar Escape Villa prohibits smoking in any indoor areas at the villas and not respecting this rule forfeits your security deposit . However, there are plenty outdoor areas at the villa where guests are allowed to smoke.
What happens if we break or damage something during our stay?
Please inform us about any such unfortunate events. If we are talking about one broken glass or dish, we are not gonna keep any of your security deposit. But we will do so, if the damage is more substantial.
We are also checking the villa before your departure, so the cost to repair or replace damaged and broken items will be subtracted from your security deposit.
